Our expertise in genetic engineering allows us to customize numerous aspects of the final product to deliver the perfect research tool for our customers. Depending on the customer needs, we can adjust the promoters driving gene expression, antibiotic resistance for subcloning as well as potential subsequent clonal selection, delivery method and introduce numerous modifications to the gene itself (e.g. UTR presence, sequence alterations, tags). Once the vector carrying the gene is ready, we can introduce it into eukaryotic cell lines and stabilize them for you or express the gene in bacteria to obtain the protein you need. However, protein coding genes are not the only product we can deliver. Gene silencing is a widely recognized tool in studies on gene function and systems biology. At Celther, we can generate vectors carrying short hairpin RNA (shRNA) in order to transiently or stably silence expression of your gene of interest in any eukaryotic cell line.
